How to choose the right cloud platform for your business.

How to choose the right cloud platform for your business.

AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud all solve the same core problem, so the right choice usually comes down to fit rather than raw features.

Start with your existing stack. If your business already runs on Microsoft tools, Azure often integrates more smoothly. Teams already using Google Workspace or data tools may find Google Cloud a more natural extension. AWS remains the broadest default for general-purpose workloads.

Next, look at where your users actually are. Latency and data residency requirements can narrow the field quickly once you factor in your customers' locations and any regulatory constraints.

Finally, weigh total cost of ownership, not just sticker price. Egress fees, support tiers, and the learning curve for your team all factor into the real cost of a platform choice.

There is rarely a single "best" cloud platform, only the one that fits your team, your data, and your growth plans best.

Solid breakdown. The point about aligning tech decisions with business goals early on is something we learned the hard way.

This lines up with what we saw after our own system migration, faster reporting and a lot fewer manual fixes. Good writeup.
